FREE OPEN DAYS TO NEW MUMS & BABIES – places limited

Posted on Posted in Uncategorized

Hi all,

To help launch our new ‘Almost summer’ sessions, we are running OPEN DAYS where New Mums and babies can come along to our classes and try them for free to see how they like it, before they commit to a 6 week session!

Our 6 week sessions start from April 1st onwards (the start dates over the 6 locations run over 2 weeks). See here for your start date in your location.

HOW DOES THE OPEN DAY WORK & HOW CAN YOU JOIN IN?

These open days are for New Mums. Whether it be a friend or sister of someone who is already a member, as long as we have spaces available, you can come along! You will need to book in and as long as there is an Open Day Space available you’re in! Just turn up (see below for what you will need on your open day). They will run on the following dates:

After these dates, any new Mum looking to try a class, will have to buy a 1 class pass. Click here for details.

Should you like to join us after your open day, you can use the same log in details as you did to book into the open day, and go to the Mummy Bootcamp tab to book in. Or alternatively you can book in using paypal via our www.mummybootcamp.ie page here.

WHAT WILL YOU NEED ON YOUR OPEN DAY?

By doing the openday you are confirming that you are 6 weeks post natal after a normal vaginal delivery with no complications, or 12 weeks post natal if you had a c-section or had any major complications. If you are under these time lines, give me a shout on 086 3836020 and it may be best to start later on, to avoid any injuries. But in any case, if you are starting this week and are good to go, then be sure to let your instructor know on your first class, that it is in fact your first class. At this point, then can make sure you are ok to do the different exercises, but modify where necessary.

Here is a link to our mummy bootcamp website. You will find some helpful information on post-natal fitness. Especially abdominal separation and weak pelvic floor muscles.

When you join up as a 6 week member after your open day, you can attend any of our locations during your term. That can help make up for missed classes or even get in an extra workout if you are feeling up to it!

Don’t forget to bring a water bottle for yourself, and to wrap up your baby well too and bring the rain cover, even if it isn’t raining. It can often soothe the babies and keep them snug while you are sweating it out! But remember, as you train, you get hot, but baby is not training too, so don’t peel off their layers each time you see them as you are getting hotter, they are quite cosy and snug all wrapped up! Bring a dry warm top for yourself too for afterwards in case you might like to go for coffee with the other mums and babies, that is sometimes the most rewarding coffee of the day! And remember to take it easy if you have not exercised in a long while and be sure to let the instructor know if its your first class and if you have any injuries they need to be aware of so they can give you alternatives where necessary.

You are free to tend to your baby at any time, so do so as you feel you need to and if your baby is crying and this is normal, then don’t worry and don’t feel that it is annoying the other mums, it isn’t, they are just glad its not their baby😊

Bring a mat too and that can be your Bootcamp mat that you don’t mind getting wet. Also, if you have a dyna band, bring that along too (this is not essential for your first class).

I hope all that makes sense but if you have any questions at all on the above, feel free to get in touch with me at any time, on 086 3836020.

Cheers, and looking forward to meeting you and your baby over the coming weeks!
